PPM EXPRESS UPDATES DIGEST: WHAT’S NEW IN SEPTEMBER 2020?

2 min read

We continue improving PPM Express and here are several great features added in September 2019.

1) Invite New Users to PPM Express

We have added a possibility to invite users who have Office 365, GSuite or personal Google account to PPM Express tenant. Using this feature PPM Express Administrators can send invitations to users who are out of Office 365 or GSuite tenant which was used to create PPM Express tenant.

Invitations can be sent in a bulk to several users, giving them the required permissions at once. As the users receive invitations and select to join PPM Express, they will be able to log in to PPM Express tenant they were invited to and start working on the Projects, Portfolios according to the permissions they were granted.

When the users receive invitations and sign up to PPM Express tenant, PPM Express Administrator will see what account was used by each user to sign up, Office 365, GSuite or personal Google account.

2) Demo Data

We have removed ‘Import’ wizard after the first registration of PPM Express. From now on, demo Projects, Portfolios and Resources are available for users in PPM Express right after the first registration of PPM Express tenant. It allows a user to review what information can be imported to PPM Express from the source systems it supports and review what benefits PPM Express provides. You can review demo Projects, Portfolios and Resources and test the application with demo data and then create or import your own data.

You can easily remove demo data in a bulk when you do not need it anymore and are ready to use the application with your own data.

3) Import Projects and Import Resources Options

Import Projects and Import Resources options are now available from the Actions drop-down on Portfolios, Projects and Resources pages. Now you can easily import your Projects or Resources from Project Online, Jira, Azure DevOps, Planner from any PPM Express page you are working with.

4) Improvements in “Portfolio vs Projects Costs” Power BI Report Navigation

Portfolio vs Projects Costs” Power BI report is now accessible from Portfolio card menu. You can now easily access and review information about Portfolio vs Projects Costs from the Portfolios page.
